We are a NY brand, and so we thought it’s only right to put together a capsule collection made in our own backyard. We partnered with a generational family business of artisan craftsmen still located in the historic Garment District. They only make specialized product in small batches. This item is made from a beautiful slub cotton. All Made in NY Garment District pieces are adorned with the Descendant of Thieves embroidered patch logo, inspired by the mug shot of Vincenzo Peruggia, the notorious art thief who stole the Mona Lisa (1911). The fabrics of this collection are dead-stock fabrics found in the city including this weighty slub knit. The construction of this style is similar to a tailored sweatshirt with its heavy-weight hem piecing and the Descendant of Thieves button closure single side vent.
